Santorini in a wind storm

For the start of my month of traveling around Europe, I flew to Santorini: The picture-perfect Greek island, famous for its sunsets, classic blue and white buildings and vibrant night life.

I highly recommend a boat trip from Fira. We swam in natural hot springs and saw the famous Oia sunset from the sea. Careful not to get caught out by the walk to the old port: its slippery, long, and full of donkeys!

For clubbing, we stayed away from the clubs we’d seen on tik-tok with expensive entry, and instead went to the Highlander, a Scottish club with free entry and a great traveler atmosphere.

Be warned: the buses in Greece are a different breed. The Fira bus station feels like you’ve stepped into a different, very chaotic, dimension.

Santorini is very hectic but also a picture perfect island.
